Appealing Your District Court Sentence

NH State law says that if you have a trial in a district court for a class A misdemeanor and are sentenced, then you can appeal from that sentence to the superior court for a de novo jury trial, or the Supreme Court to appeal questions of law. RSA 502-A:12 You must enter your appeal to the superior court by the next return day after sentencing. If you have a jury trial and are found guilty, you can still appeal questions of law to the Supreme Court. RSA 599:1
